Tony has been the Director of Business Development for the Lorain County Chamber since July 2003. He enjoys working with the existing and long established members and he is the main contact for businesses when new businesses want to join the 500+ member County Chamber.
Previously, Tony was the Sales Manager for Wilmot Printing Company in Elyria, where he was employed for 16+ years at the family run printing company. It is at Wilmot that Tony came to participate in County Chamber events, as Wilmot was a big believer and supporter of the County Chamber. During those 16 years, Tony established relationships that would make his transition to the chamber world easier since relationships are what we all strive for.
Tony has been a long time member of the Elyria Sunrise Rotary club as well as Past President, past Board Chair of Child Care Resource Center in Lorain which covers a 5 county footprint, the Northcoast Building Industries Association, where he has served on many committees and past committee member and Chair for the Lorain County Heart Walk run by the American Heart Association. He currently is on the board of the Lorain Growth Corporation, which is the “main street” organization for downtown Lorain and is in his 2nd year as inaugural Board Chairman for the French Creek YMCA in Avon. He has had past participation in Leadership Lorain County, Junior Achievement, Cancer Ball of Lorain County, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, the Lorain County Urban League, Healthy Lorain, Child Car Seat Awareness Campaign, the Not Forgotten Box, Team Lorain County, SME of Lorain County and SME Cleveland and served as the keynote commencement speaker to the graduating class of LifeSkills School in Elyria.
Tony attended and graduated from Lorain City Schools and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BS in Marketing and a minor in Advertising. He is married to Theresa, an RN, and they enjoy spending time with family and friends at Kelleys Island.
