Mary V. Stamler hails from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. She relocated to Ohio in the late 60's, and settled in Garfield Heights where she quickly felt right at home.
After gaining years of accounting and management experience in the private business sector, Mary began working for the Garfield Heights Chamber of Commerce in the fall of 1999. She was named the Chamber's Executive Director in 2000.
She guided her chamber to reaffirm themselves as a business organization with a mission to promote, educate, and unite the local business community. The Chamber operates as a business making them more aware of the day-to-day concerns their members work with each and every day. With her leadership and guidance, the chamber has received awards for growth and is recognized as a prominent part of the Garfield Heights Community.
Mary is a member of the Garfield Heights Christian Unity Council, works closely with the Garfield Heights Schools and is interested in anything that will help her City to continue to grow and prosper.
Mary has been selected as one of Garfield Heights "Outstanding Ladies," served as VP for NOACC (Northern Ohio Chambers of Commerce) for three years and is currently serving her second term as President of NOACC.
